Welcome! I’m Sara Feeney, a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) and Certified Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapist with over 10 years of clinical experience in both the United States and Canada. I hold a Master of Social Work (MSW) from Wilfrid Laurier University in Ontario, Canada, and have specialized training in trauma-informed therapies designed to support clients through a holistic approach.

I specialize in working with children (ages 5+), adolescents, adults, and families, helping them navigate complex mental health challenges and trauma recovery. I take an integrative, strengths-based approach, drawing from a variety of evidence-based modalities including EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, and attachment-focused therapies. My goal is to understand the whole person—mind, body, and spirit—and create a personalized therapeutic experience that meets the unique needs of each individual.

I believe that there is no “one size fits all” in therapy. Instead, I focus on creating a welcoming, supportive space where clients feel safe to explore their experiences, heal from past traumas, and build resilience. Whether I’m working with young children, teens, or adults, I strive to foster an environment of warmth, open-mindedness, and unconditional positive regard.
